The Type 14450 precision relief valve has been designed to provide accurate pressure control in systems operating at pressures up to 800 bar and flows of up to 45 litres/min (dependant on pressure). The floating poppet design enhanced by the use of linear bearings produces characteristics which are non flow dependent and ensures long life with repeatable performance.
Floating poppet design produces reseating at 90% of cracking pressure (Static test conditions).
The main spring load is not transmitted to the seat, thus reducing distortion and wear.
Design characteristics are not flow dependent; producing a near linear response to increasing flow.
Long life and repeatable performance are ensured through the use of hardened elements operating in a linear bearing cage.
Installation and removal of system pipework is simplified by the right angled configuration.
