These valves are designed to provide pressure control in systems with low flow requirements such as those subject to thermal expansion. The type 14540 relief valve provides accurate repeatable performance with reseating within 10% of cracking pressure or better.

The use of stainless steel elements operating in a linear plain bearing ensures long life and consistent performance.

The valve is designed for cartridge fitment in to a suitable manifold block (as drawing) or the valve can be face mounted to relief to atmosphere such as in a tank or sump application.
